I'm mostly posting stuff on bandcamp as Matilda Lézard (and the usual streaming platforms as the same name) and tests/experiments/stuff I'm too lazy to properly record on soundcloud. All of my music can be streamed through any platform (although fuck spotify).

atonal mind poisoned lullaby EP

This is a very experimental work, that was recorded as an improvisation and arranged later in Reaper with a bit of layering and crops. The sounds are generated from feedback patches made with maxmsp and a vcv rack patch that feedbacks a simulation of Mutable Instruments Element eurorack module. I really like the sounds that were created from this and the tracks turned out better than I expect, but it's definitely not everyone's taste.

im//mobile EP

am i moving ? can i still keep trying ? wandering in parched lands, have i lost myself ?

This EP is the first actually produced stuff that I've end up with and it's quite different than what I'm used to do, i guess. I tried to focus a bit on motion, emotion spaces I'm located in these days and tried to translate to music the horrors of feeling stuck.

Used a lot of different stuff, samples from glitchy drum beats done with strudel.cc and some Max MSP patch that was laying around in my laptop that is a try at a combination of FM and Karplus-Strong synthesis. Used Vital for most of the melodic/fx/bip-boopy parts. The last track was made using mostly modular synth. This was inspired by aya (whose music I've been obssessed with since seeing her live) and especially her "and depart from mono games" as loft. Hope this is acceptably mixed and that you'll enjoy this work !

Etudes génératives vol.1

Made entirely using VCV Rack, this album is a collection of patches I fiddled with over the course of the past 6 months or so, and I finally settled down on recording them (I have to write my thesis so that's why I'm becoming productive on the music side of the stuff I have to do). All of these tracks were recorded on 19th July 2025.

It's generative ambient, some tracks are more whimsical other more drony sounds, a few are a bit more dark ambient and perhaps a bit oppressive. Mostly made these for the vibes. The content of this album is more soothing than the previous one I made.

Music for Hesitations

My first album I've put out. It was composed from late 2023 to around the release date, at a time where I discovered synthesis. First, with VCV Rack, then with a used Behringer Crave and with the later tracks, an early version of a modular synth.

The music that came out is mostly experimental ambien, inspired some video game music like Stray, Outer wilds and Signalis. Also by artists like Bochum Welt, Max Cooper, Lilly Schwartz and the OST of Columbus by Hammock

Writing this feels weird since the album was released around a year ago now. Even though I feel like I have made a lot of progress, I'm still proud of these first musics I have ever released after struggling for almost a decade to compose actual songs. Turns out I just needed the appropriate medium to do so :)
